Career Hub is your personal job hunt dashboard. It helps you track companies you're interested in, save customized bookmarks with filters applied, manage contacts, and monitor your daily outreach progress.
Click "Add company" to save any company you're interested in. Add a name, URL, tag (e.g., "Tech", "Startup"), and optional notes. All data is saved locally in your browser.
The key feature: Save company pages with filters already applied. For example, if you find a job listing page with filters for "Remote" and "Senior" roles, save that link. Next time you visit, those filters are already set — no need to reapply them.
Click on a company card to visit its URL. Each visit is recorded for today. The "Today" counter at the top shows how many companies you visited today vs. your total companies.
Use the search bar to find companies by name or notes. Click tags to filter by category. Use "All" to reset filters.
Click "Add contact" to save recruiters, hiring managers, or referrals. Assign them to companies, add email, phone, LinkedIn, and notes. Click a company to view all contacts for that company.
Click the calendar button to see your visit history across months and years. Plan your outreach and stay consistent with your job hunt.
Click the "Career Hub" title to add your name. This appears at the top and makes the dashboard feel more personal.
Click the LinkedIn logo (top right) to save your LinkedIn profile URL. Click it again anytime to quickly open your profile.
Click "Export" to download all your data (companies, contacts, name, LinkedIn URL) as a JSON file. Keep this safe for backups or migrating to another device.
Click "Import" to:
• Upload Chrome/Edge bookmarks (HTML file) to add multiple
companies at once
• Upload a previous backup (JSON file) to
restore your data
🔒 Data Storage: Everything is stored locally in your browser. If you clear your browser cookies or site data, you will lose all data. Always export and backup regularly.
📱 Device-Specific: Your data is not synced across devices. If you use Career Hub on multiple devices, export from one and import on another to keep data in sync.
🕐 Timezone: All dates and times follow your system's local timezone. Make sure your device timezone is set correctly.
🚀 No Backend: Career Hub is completely offline and private. No data is sent to any server. You have 100% privacy.
